Our travel agent is pricing our May trip at the moment so I will hold off on booking anything. Do you have any idea how soon very soon is - and whether this will include specials from NZ??
Right now we are tossing up between the following flight options:
Auckland (NZ) to Sydney (Qantas) then Sydney to Denpasar (Australia Airlines)
or
Auckland to Sydney (Air NZ) then Sydney to Denpasar (Garuda)
Any opinions? We have flown Garuda in the past but this time want to go via Sydney as the regular NZ flights to Bali go via Brisbane but dont leave NZ until the afternoon which means you dont touch down in Bali until after midnight (Bali time). If you go via Sydney you can leave NZ early in the morning and be in Bali early in the afternoon (Bali time) so you gain an extra 1/2 day on holiday for on little extra on the airfare.
