Have just returned with my 14 year old who also surfs and he did not wish to stay in Tuban because of the lack of surf there... as someone has mentioned, waves begin around the Mall and then increase in size towards legian... my son was happy surfing at Kuta, near Inna Kuta and then also at Legian.
