We stayed at the Bali Hyatt in Sanur and LOVED it. The rates can get pretty low online considering what you get. The location is great, to the right of us almost sharing our beach were a bunch of fishermen and local kids, there were few vendors or other annoyances while we relaxed. We also enjoyed their pools - one Balinese-style and one typical resort-style w/swim-up bar. The grounds are lush and very traditional (unlike the Hyatt Nusa Dua where we might as well have been in Florida as it was very generic and sterile to us). The service there was friendly and sincere - we got to know many of them during our short 2 day stay. The rooms aren't luxurious, but we spent little time indoors and don't need the jacuzzi tubs, etc. We travel quite a bit and still talk about returning to the Bali Hyatt!
