The vision of the 2002 bombings was shown as a comparison to the 2005 bombings. Not represented as the latest bombings in Bali.
The ABC also did a retrospective look back showing vision of the 2002 bombings with their coverage of the 2005 bombings. It's always important to see a news story from the beginning or run the risk of not understanding why the old vision was used.
Just for the record, the ABC got some of their vision of the 2002 bombings from the commercial stations. The same networks that they are criticising. I didn't see the Media Watch story but it could be a knee jerk reaction from the ABC who missed the boat with the coverage of both bombings.
