Cannot comment on the Novotel but loved the Melia Bali in Nusa Dua --Some may not like the fact that it is a huge and I mean huge hotel and that not many Australians and particularly families there when I was there. I actually liked the fact that there were not many kids there and not too many Aussies.... we only stayed there for 3 nights (my son 14 and myself) and we both loved it. We did not eat there except to have breakfast which was included as the meals and drinks are very expensive. It has a lovely large winding pool, lots of activities and is situated on a nice area of beach. We got our best price for the Melia through Mida in Bali.
