Noel Allen often posts on here as Allen and he is associated with Rotary in the Swan Valley in Western Australia and they fundraise and help with sponsorship of the Children in a few schools in Bali. We have a sponsor child and have visted the school she attends. We had a fantastic day and I must say it opened the eyes of my children who are aged 5 and 7 yrs. The schools up in those areas would welcome any assistance I am sure, and it may be an opportunity for a few pen friend relationships between the students you teach and the students in one of the schools.
Having said that, I have also met Smudge and spoken to him about his fantastic work and anyone who is willing or able to assist him would be contributing to his amazing efforts to assist the lovely people of Bali who are sometimes unable to help themselves.
Generally I think Smudge is more involved in Specialty Medical Assistance and Rotary is more into Education and General Health improvements for students and families who belong to the associated schools and villages they sponsor.
