I do when the balance of negative and positive is just not there. The biggest case in point for me was a couple of years back after 2002 when there had been a lot of negative publicity and at Christmas Muslim and HIndus on Bali stood guard at Christian churches and it didn't make the news here. That was a big thing to happen and I can't believe it was oversight. I believe it was ignored because of the bias they were using in reports of everything Indonesian.

The other thing that convinced me of what was going on, and I have told this story before on this forum, happenned when we were staying at Jayakarta soon after the bombing. Now Bali was quiet. It didn't need exagerating but the very pretentious camera man for channel 7, Australia, asked us to move for a shot. There were only 4 of us in the pool at the time, chatting. "We" being a young lady from Sydney, a Young man from NYC and us 2 from Perth. Well, without thinking we moved out of shot and it wasn't until I saw the footage on TV after I got home that I realised he had moved us because it served the purpose of his reporting to show an empty pool. That's only a little thing I know, but it just isn't OK.
