Also regarding the use of the old Paddy's Bar site as a car park. I didn't lose anyone in the Bali tragedy so perhaps my thoughts are seen as insensitive but I have to agree with so many other forumites that it is time to move on. There is a magnificient monument to all those who lost their lives and that hopefully will always be looked after.The land belongs to the Balinese. It would be good to see the Sari Club site turned into a park/meeting place but I believe it is up to the Balinese to use the site as they wish.
