I am merely stating that the sort of secirity we tourists are subjected to IN BALI (elsewhere is not under discussion here) is in all probablilty not an indication of the level of security imposed on those who are obviously not tourists.
The fact that my bags aren't searched every time I enter a hotel, shop or whatever doesn't necessarially mean that security in Bali is lax overall.
IF any westerners ever become implicated in terrorism in Bali, then your comments might be valid.
