I suggest you use a good metal fine-tooth comb, a thick conditioner and baking soda combination to smother the hair and just do strand-by-strand comb-out. Take one small section at a time and move on another opne when you stop finding nits in that section. check out the comb-out video at www.headlice.org (under 'video library').
