World Vision/Oxfam now have a scheme to encourage people to help others less fortunate, in that we can tell our friends that we do not want presents from them but would prefer they sign up and buy a cow or a goat or something along those lines, it's a wonderful idea. They don't specifically cover Bali of course, but I am sure that any signups could be done with a request that the cow be one of those gorgeous gorgeous black-eyed, long eye-lashed Bali variety! Do Bali cows go moo or om?
