Some good points that i guess we don't always think to mention.
We are news junkies too and when the last couple of hotels had no Satelite tv we panicked.....initially.....and then we took our watches off and relaxed and got into Bali mode.We should live like that at home as one of the things i dislike when i come back is the negativity here.
My next trip will be in Sanur and i am busy looking into that. Sharon27 who has kids always stays in Sanur and TinaG usually stays there, maybe they will read this, if not i will be chatting to them.
Regarding the surfing lessons, a girl my daughter met up with in July took them on Kuta beach in front of the art market area one morning. Can't remember what she paid but maybe for lessons it was about 75 000rp though i can't be sure. I will email her. LynneD has also done them.
I would not like my daughter to do it as i think Kuta beach is very dirty and having had Bali Belly i do all i can to avoid her getting it again.
Thanks for your imput and maybe your son will do that summary.
