where to keep money while movin

from one hotel to another?? I'm going to be brave this time and have only booked first part of accomodation, plan on trying a few different areas and hotels so wondered where others keep their money
while moving around from place to place please? Will only be myself and teenage daughter but would still rather take cash if possible.
