Thanks kepala_udang I have to say the credit for getting the Medical treatment that I am involved in really belongs to the Southern Cross Bali Assoc Inc.
They do all the hard work getting funds to pay for operations etc I just get the good bit getting the kids from the villages taking them to the Hospital getting the Doctors to fix them up pay the hospital bill with Southern Cross money, then returning them to their homes.
Some times I take people to the Villages and then some will see a child that needs some medical procedure and ask me to arrange it, I contact Southern Cross we find out the cost of the procedure like everything else we have to negotiate the price, then get back to the person who wishes to sponsor the procedure, if all is agreed it goes ahead all money is paid into Southern Cross Account to keep the paperwork correct, and is used strictly to pay Doctors and hospital bills, transport costs accommodation and food are down to me.
I also get help from some of the more inaccessible villages in that the young men of the village will ferry the kids needing help up and down the mountain tracks using their motorbikes
