missing Bali terribly! When we returned all family were asking if it was because of all the warnings on the news! We had no idea. Bali is quiet, but more and more people were arriving. I was surprised that I saw more people in Poppies 2 at night time then I did during the day. Was I scared or worried while in Bali? Nope.. did I think about possile terrorist attacks? Only once when I was going pass Raja's one night on the way to Matahari's. We as a family are already planning our next trip. If you are concerned its quiet look at some positives.. no lines at Waterbom and you can get a bungalow at any time of day, prices for activites have decreased (which gave us the oportunity this time to be able to give tips to our drivers and so forth) and no lounge hogs at resort pools!! It is bad for the balanise people and for this we spent more then ever and tipped alot.
I PERSONALLY feel that the Australian media are playing one of the biggest roles in the down turn of tourists travelling to Bali. They only report negatives and overly exagerate what it is like over there. I understand they have to warn us when they feel there is a danger and I respect that but why is it they dont do it for any other countries?
I love Bali and will be returning... this was my best trip yet :)
