I can't believe this has turned into such an intense thread!

Please let me clear up a few points.

1. As far as my job goes (do I really need to explain myself here??!!) I have been a fitness instructor for 12 years. I currently teach 5 aerobics classes per week, and have done for a long time now. I am also a newly graduated primary school teacher. I will be teaching grade 1/2 next year (and plan to keep up my fitness instructing). So, yes, I can do both!
I also played in a band for many years, which is why i bought the guitar. I was the drummer in my band days, but also play keyboards and a bit of guitar.

2. Jamie is a REAL person, with real feelings. He has trouble understanding why all this is an issue. He has been writing stories for a long time, but is new to this 'forum' type of medium. If you have looked at my photos, you have seen him.

3. I have corrected one, maybe two words as far as spelling goes, but all the grammer, syntax, brackets, etc are his. If that means he is a brainy kid, good for him. As i said, he is a huge reader, so that probably has a lot to do with it.

4. Anyone who has been on this forum for a while would know that I have been here researching info for our trip for about a year now. On many occasions I mentioned Jamie, and said he was keen to do a JBR when he got back. The fact that he is following the same format as me only shows that he has not read many JBR's, and just copied my 'style'.

5. A question: Why would I write 35 pages of my own JBRs, and then pose as a 9 year old boy to write some more?

6. If prople don't like my style. or the way I 'title' my work, good for them. I understand that not everyone on this forum has the same tastes. i also have a thick skin, so a little 'chat' is not going to upset me. I take critical feedback well, and can actually see your point, in that maybe 'short stories yada yada...' was getting a little over the top.
Point taken.

So really, can we all lighten up and let a kid have his fun?

Thanks!
