Earlier in the week I made the comment "I hope I don't get flamed" (or similar) This was Bigpete's response...."I hope you don't. You have given an honest opinion of how you feel, and no one else has a right to 'dis' you for that.
As a forum, we were asked for opinions/advice, and that is what you have given.
More power to you.
And if you do get flamed, remember there are planty of us out here who value eveyone's opinions and their right to air it.

Well...right back at you BP!!!! You and your son have both put a lot of your valuable time into these JBR's for our enjoyment. You both have a great (individual) writing style and have given a lot of us a great deal of pleasure. How insulting, being critisised for the writing, and even (a first even for this forum, I'm sure) for the title. My daughter is an academic excellence award winner for her writing and was writing at the same level at the same age. What a fantastic gift, the love of reading which Jamie so obviously has, so reminds me of my daughter, then and now, reading herself to sleep every night, losing herself in the magic of literature.
I look forward to your next "short story" and just wish some people would lighten up and get some Christmas spirit.
