Sorry for the delay in replying (Im a midwife and have been busy with a birth) Here's the email I got - it is a NZ company but Im sure those of you in Australia will be able to get something similar - it took me a few phone calls but if Im going to give them my $$ I want good cover!

Basically the policy covers acts of terrorism that happen while in Bali ( see section 8 of the link below) however it does not cover any cancellation due to acts of terrorism i.e. if something happens before your departure date and you decide to no longer travel the policy does not cover the loss of deposits or any money you have already paid. If you are over in Bali and something happens i.e. a bombing and it affects the accommodation you are staying in the policy will cover additional expenses such as alternative accommodation or transport to get to alternative accommodation etc, it will also cover medical expenses if you need any treatment etc due to injuries etc that are a direct result from the act of terrorism.
