We take a small container of laundry powder. Wash socks, undies and bathers by hand every day (the hotel we stay at has a small laundry drying frame for each room). We only use the hotel laundry for shirts shorts and trousers (stuff that needs ironing).
I think you need to bring back some good smelly stuff to give the customs people the sh!ts in case they go through your luggage.
