Thanks so much Jan - I really enjoyed your report, especially the part about your visit to Java. I was lucky enough to visit Java for the first time this year, and enjoyed it a lot. I also can't agree with you more about the Javanese - I also have a lot of friends from Java and they can't all be tarnished with the same bad brush. Sure, there are bound to be some bad people from Java - it is a big place, with some big cities. it would be strange if there were no bad eggs - but there are also a lot of Javanese that are warm and friendly.
