We stayed at Hotel Tjamphuan last year...and never experienced what that article says about products...we didn't go in the spa but enjoyed the pool and riverside and it was beautiful. Staff is incredible as they have to walk up and down a lot of stairs carrying things... one of my favorite hotels in the world.
