What is the current opinion of building costs in Bali?
3 years ago Slab posted the following but there has been a lot of water under the bridge since then.
Info for south Bali is fine but if anyone has info for east Bali (Candi Dasa/Amlapura) so much the better.

• (Koral) stone/gravel: Rp. 325,000 truck (4m cubic)
• (Pasir super)graded sand (for plastering, though still has to be sifted):Rp. 350,000 truck (4m cubic)
• (Pasir cor) corse sand (for concreting) Rp. 325,000 truck (4m cubic)
• (Semen)Cement:Rp. 23,500 40kg. sack
• Depends on location for trucking sand etc
• The preceding prices are for Kuta/Sanur/Canggu/Jimbaran area
• If there is any carrying from the road to the site (IE. No vehicle access during the building process), be prepared to be wroughted, especially in Ubud area or Nusa Lembongan where the price is by the truck/bag of cement/plank, no day rate.
Labor; I pay
• Rp.25-30,000 /day + accommodation for long term jack of all trades
• Rp.35-40,000 day for "tradesmen" can stay on site if they wish, (IE. make themselves a hut to camp in)
• Rp.25,000 for male/female labour, can stay on site if they wish.
