Just a point, why if you've lost your Air paradise money have you booked and staying at The Bounty which's owned by Kadek the owner of Air paradise?
As for security more police and army personal have boosted security and it has be reported in the press that they are upping patrols around the coast,... the very nature of how the tourist areas are set up in Bali makes it a difficult job security wise.
You can't check every vehicle or bike that drives up and down the streets in front of shops bars a restaurant that tourists frequent and the beach areas
