We came back on 4/12/05, and at Denpasar airport they said it was only Qantas & Australian airlines that they were doing this with, no other airline was being done, they said the Australian government had organised this. Any bags that were shrink wrapped, they slit them open and then took them over to be re shrink wrapped, but in our case we had ties on them and they snipped them off, but as we didn't have any spares that was our bad luck. But there was no problem.
