the bombs went off in October. I'd been at Raja's the day before (Friday) having lunch after some particularly successfull shoe shopping at Matahari. I didn't feel comfortable at Raja's and decided that I really shouldn't hang around. Call it women's intuition - but that's how I felt. I stayed on in Kuta after the bombs as I figured the airport had enough panic to deal with and I couldn't see the point in running. My opinion - go and have a good time, just be sensible about where you go and listen to your gut feelings. Not brilliant advice I know. I very much doubt that there will be any problems over Christmas, however, like every other Australian I'm not privy to what the Government supposedly knows. At the end of the day, no amount of advice or opinions will change how you feel in yourselves about your children's safety. Whatever you decide I hope you have a safe and happy Christmas.
