But really it's fun just to hop on the green public bemo, you'll know it when it stops and a head pops out of an ever open side door saying "transport". You just hop in and tell them you want Hardys and away you go. It was Rp,2.000 per person, but I don't know if its gone up since a month ago because of petrol prices, anyway I guess if it's not enough they'll soon tell you. Any of the shop assistants or hotel staff will tell you what you pay. 5 minutes later there you are at Hardys's. When you finish just cross the road and do it all in reverse. It's easy good fun and the local way. They just run up and down the Sanur strip continuously.
Have you stayed there before? If not give yourself and your wallet a treat and when you exit the back of your hotel turn left along the beach promenade until you reach Anitas Warung. Very good food, very cheap prices and great staff. I like their nasi campur or satay, the pepes ikan is yum too. Their spring rolls are the best in Bali, bar none and my grandson swore by their burgers, club sandwiches and banana juice. Justin really liked Maria in the shop one or two from Anitas, we could watch him from our table and he and his pop did Justin's first bargaining session with Maria for boardies and tee shirts, nice lady.
Have a great holiday.
