About 7 years ago when i stayed in Tuban I had a near perfect run with that shop then a big short change. While I had it sorted it was an obvious go and leaves you feeling out of sorts.
In jalan Melasti there are two Kodak shops and one is awful by my own experience and by some I've read here. The one closest to the beach seems to be consistently good. I like the one in Jalan Padma and my favourite money changer is the Kodak shop on the corner of Poppies 2. We've had many a chat and he's a lovely man. Man can he count money in that special way.
Of course I'm sure staffing changes will always influence this situation.
