Ok in Sanur there is Kodak shops and the little money changer booths.
We stay in Sanur all the time and I can tell you this the exchange rate I found was BETTER then Kuta if not even.
As for DVD's yes buy 10 get 3 free like every where.
And there are several DVD shops along the beach.
I also recommend going to Hardies store only tiny but excellent shopping centre, and you CAN batar in there.
