one leg (had an artificial one). 20 years ago she went on her only overseas trip to Hong Kong (I know it's not Bali) with her sister. They did a day trip into communist China. Standing in line outside the bus at the border waiting for immigration, she heard, "no leggie, no leggie". Two Chinese guards with guns were running toward her. She though, Oh Sh*t, they're going to shoot. One each side of her picked her up under the arms and put her on the bus so she didn't have to stand and processed her passport there.
Amazing for 20 years ago in an asian country, yet the looks she used to get here. Shamefull and still is towards disabled people.
