When we were staying in Bali a Canadian (I think) family were staying there too. Their party consisted of Mum and Dad with their Autistic son who would have been maybe 25 and another couple maybe family maybe not.
I didn't run into them outside of the hotel but the pleasure this young guy was getting from being around and in the pool was obvious and made us feel good too. Same at the buffet breakfast. The respect his family showed him was heartwarming, also the staff at the hotel.
It was undoubtedly enriching for him, but also for anyone else with eyes to see and ears to hear.
