I like to head south to have a look around Sanur and/or Nusa Dua, then Geger Beach (for lunch?) Uluwatu temple, on the cliff edge with monkeys, look at Dreamland beach, wander around GWK Cultural Park (enjoy a meal at DeMiMidi restaurant) Jimbaran bay fish market (but earlier in the morning, before lunch) Jimbaran Bay for dinner on the beach.
Tanah Lot temple is special, which is north of Seminyak.
Golly, so much to see, so little time....
Another great trip out from Ubud is across to Bedugal. Lunch at Pacung Indah, drinks at Crackers Bar, shop at the Candi Cuning markets and check out the gorgeous lake and temple. Or head up to Kintamani volcano and check out the rice paddies at Tegallalang and do some shopping.
