Tried new restaurant, Drops on Padma St, great steaks, ribs and deserts. Disappointed with janoko tailor, lots of adjustments to suits.
Padma hotel still great, despite renovations one side of hotel.
Streets very quiet, felt sorry for balinese.
Thanks Qantas for bringing us home after Air Paradise went down. Flew AP three times before and thought it was a great airline for the money.
Almas, near Melasti Hotel, great for pearls as was Ali, prev mentioned on forum. Shop next door to Almas great for shawls and special bags.
Beware near Padma, 2 girls doing nails and toes asking 450000Rp for 10 minute pedicure, initially saying it was free. Remember to ask for price first.
Thought water sports at Nusa Dua were a bit expensive, needed to haggle over the price, bringing it down from $70 to $43 for 4 types of activities. All the teens that went on the flying fish thought it was well worth it, but the water was quite dirty when we snorkelled off the boat a few hundred metres from the shore
