I stayed at this hotel in October a week after the second B**b. It was pretty quiet with not a lot of atmosphere as there were not a lot of people around. However, this seemed to be the same for many places, but as this place had just opened it did not have a loyal following to revisit. It is very clean and new, with an open front reception with plenty of security. The deluxe room seem to be much the same as the superior room, except they are on the ground floor, facing the pool (which is long and narrow. They may be slightly bigger and also have an outdoor shower in addition to the bathroom. Pleasant, but I did not think they were worth the extra money, and I quite liked the thought of being off the ground. All rooms face the pool. Given how quiet it is, I don't think you will have any trouble getting a sun lounge, although there is not a lot of shade. The pool seemed to get plenty of sun, I think.
In contrast I walked through the Kumala Pantai and asked to look at some rooms. It is a bit more expensive, but is a well establ;ished hotel with a totally different atmosphere. The rooms are more traditional and larger, and there are plenty of shady gardens. It is also beach front, whereas you have about a 5-7 minute walk to the beach from the All Seasons. Just depends what you want really, and what you are prepared to pay.
PS Due to low occupancy the buffet was not on at the All Seasons.
