Yep, exactly right.
They are a soft drink... options were usually coke, sprite (lemonade)
or fanta, with a scoop or two of icecream 'floating' in it.
We used to drink them as kids, so the tradition has passed on!
We tried to keep them away from the cola ones at dinner time....(caffeine) hard enough getting them to sleep as it was!
