a couple of losmen right on the beach. No luxury but fair prices. But I highly recommend to stay at Bingin like sunshine4me said, too! Nothing is better than sunrise and sunset overlooking all the famous surfspots from Uluwatu over Impossibles, Bingin to Dreamland! We stayed there last year in March/April at "Fullmoon Warung". 80.000 Rp a double, beautiful rooms with terrace and your own toilet and shower. It's a bit further down the cliff, but the view is still amazing! When you're there, try "Mama Ketut" (just a few steps above Fullmoon Warung) for breakfast (French Toast, yummie!!) or diner (chicken curry, wow, or Mama Ketuts husband is making bbq out of fresh caught squid from Bingin beach)
We walked over to Dreamland from Bingin, even carrying our surfboards, no problem at low tide.
Just a recommendation, cause I loved to stay in Bingin so much. We have been the only guest so had the whole terrace for our own. It was such a good alternative to Kuta (where we had our "first residence"). Everytime feeling sick of too much tourists and shopping, we grabbed our bike and escaped to Bingin.
Oh, I'm becoming so enthusiastic writing about this...
Enjoy your stay in Bali!
