esky from Makro. They are about 170 000 Rp plus tax for a 24 litre esky. This can then be used not only for the family but when driving long distances. Rice never goes astray either which you can also get at Makro in 25 kgs bags or if you go to Denpasar market you can get 100 kg bags. Noodles are another good food item that is used or sugar or powdered milk. Have heard of others buying the family a washing machine from Makro but this would depend on whether the family home has electricity as not all have. Any Australian souveniers are always good - t-shirts with Australian print etc.(particularly those depicting the state you come from). Hope some of this helps.
