After loosing everything to Air Paradise...

We finally made it to Bali from Melbourne last Tuesday. I must say that Garuda have been fantastic all the way Thank You Guys!
After being picked up by smudge from the airport, we had a bit to eat, said hi to Sam (His German Sheppard Guard Dog) and then headed down to the beach for a quiet drink & to see S&S.... We unfortunately found out that S&S are taking a short break for the time as business has become so slow that Smudge has been there only customer for the last bit. This is very sad.
That night we then made our way up to Ubud where we are having a relaxing Honeymoon for a week or so.
The Alila Hotel is by far the best hotel I have ever seen let alone stayed in. We decided to treat ourselves and stay in one of there best rooms (No. 301) it is a sweet type room, on stilts with a pond out the back. Our bath tub is submerged in the middle of that pond.
Now what I am about to write may sound fictional, but at present I am sitting in The Alila Hotel's Library (which is on the cliffs over looking the Ayung River), with my wife Beck and accessing the Bali Travel Forum whilst sipping Mango Green Tea. On the stone wall outside my window there are two monkeys running along it, playing with each other as well as terrorising the hotel staff at the same time. Ahhhhhh we've made it back to Bali!
Well, we will enjoy it and Alan, we will see you over here on the 20th and Bob, on the 27th.
