in Legian make really good shoes they are in Rum Jungle Road just near the Jayakarta hotel friends also had boots and coats made, my husband who is 6'7' had a leather jacket made and everything was fantastic, I had a leather coat made last year there as well and still going strong. We left Sydney two days after the event Monday 3rd October and I did not feel unsafe at any time we were just aware of where we went and also both past the age of nightclubs. If you go to Hero Leather just point to the photograph on the counter of my husband being measured for his vest the poor guy had to stand on a stool to reach him!!! They all still laugh about it and they will give you a good and fair price.
