Happy Birthday. You've got some very good advice above. If I could just say that Mitch is quite right. The Balinese really appreciate an attempt at Bahasa. Selamat Pagi (cellarmut pargee), Selamat Sian (siarn) and Selamat Malam (marlarm), good morning, good afternoon and good evening.
Even better is true Balinese and I don't know the spelling but the phonetic sound is "sin can can" (no worries) and "singa la piss" (yep believe it or not this is how it sounds and means sorry I'm broke). It was always met by a happy "that's Balinese" .
You will have a wonderful time and it's the people that make it.
