strange happened to us. We made the usual stupid tourist's mistake of not really understanding that 'maybe' is not a wise thing to say. I have to confess appart from making us actually understand the importance of never saying 'maybe' we gave it no more thought. After all, everything is just so new and overwhelming, on your first visit. Later that day, eveything went wrong, the car broke down, I got bitten by a monkey, the food at 3 seperate eating places all got burned, and something else happened. I dunno that I was cursed, but it certainly felt wierd at them time. Warsi, my local friend has told me so many stories, that she personally believes I cna't help wondering..
