We stayed at the Pelangi at the beginning of this month (2nd - 9th) and loved it. Had also stayed in late April 2005 that is why we went back. Love the position on the beach usually stay too long at breakfast watching all the action on the beach. You can walk up the road and their are lots of bars and restaurants. I know it has had some bad press from a forumite but each to their own. The taxi thing is annoying for some people but we loving walking so it never bothers us, walk to where we want and catch a taxi back if hot and tired.
The room we had was clean and kept clean, staff friendly and obliging so no complaints from me.
