I initially got quite frustrated during our last trip in Jul / Aug as I couldnt find much to fit (Im a NZ 14 / 16) and found many of the XL's were not - or at least were not XL in the boob dept !! (do try them on!) and to matter matters worse alot of the 'large sized' shops had clothes that were too large for me!!
But then I found that while lots of the shops only had the smaller sizes on display when you asked they did have larger sizes available incl XXL which seemed to be the same in most cases as XL in NZ.
I did get some clothing made by the tailor which was awesome - however I can also recommend a shop called 'Soul Sisters' - its a bright purple shop on the left hand walking up JL. Legian towards Seminyak - the invoice I got has the address as Jl. Legian Kaja 433 Ph 62-361-757776 They had a range of dresses / tops from about size 8 to 16. I could have bought the whole shop but ended up with one top, one top/skirt set and three dresses for Rp.1,000,000 ($NZ153).
