A succession of duplex chalets in a single line going from Jl Danau Tamblingan towards the beach. The chalets are set out in a sort of back-to-back floor plan, so you felt like you were on your own rather than having neighbours. [I hope I've explained that clearly.] Don't know how many rooms, but certainly not a big hotel.
Each chalet has a pleasant spacious bedroom and a large en-suite, also a small sort of porch with a sitting out area. Good aircon, fridge, plenty of hot water. No TV [who needs it?].
They are building a number of two storey places at the beach end near the pool. Restaurant right next to the beach. We ate breakfast on the ground floor and they also have a nice upstairs section with a wooden floor which would make a great dance floor. Maybe next time?
An adequate cooked breakfast and that's what we got for 300,000 per night.
We walked past Villa Shanti a few times. I would say probably a classier hotel, looking from the outside. Depends what you want. We look upon our hotel as basically just a place to rest and/or sleep in between jalan jalan. Hope this helps.
