We have stayed at both and would happily go back to either. We have (maybe 'had' will be a better word to use after this post) friends at both places and fond memories of both.
The Mountain Resort, on the left as you go up the hill has newer (or at least more modern) accommodation. It also has a pool and an 'Inclinator' or open and inclined lift that you can use to get down into the valley bottom of 'their' side of the ridge. The old part of the resort is a wooden structure on long stilts that commands a magnificent view over the valley. I think it dates from the times of the Dutch occupation when the resort was a holiday station for the wives and children. The food is not good.
The Indah has Balinese style accommodation with one bungalow perched right on the edge of the valley offering stunning views. The other bungalows are set back away from the edge and thet have typical Balinese solid walls so the views are blocked. The Indah has no pool but the food is better.
There is a link below to the record of our 2005 holiday which includes views of the Indah. When the page opens look for the ten links at the bottom.
Whichever you choose make sure you visit the Baturiti Markets just a bit further up the hill and have a good poke around, particularly out the back behind the locals vegetable market. Go up to Bedugul too and have a look at Crackers famous Bar, Barbeque and Bogger in the back left hand corner.
You will enjoy your stay.
