One of my daughters has narcolepsy, which is 'sudden excessive need for daytime sleep' and other symptoms are hallucinations, vivid dreams, sleep paralysis and catoplexy.
When she wakes from sleep sometimes, she will swear part of her dreams actually happened! She has seen flames coming out of the central heating ducts. Very real for her!
I wonder if Rael could be experiencing 'vivid dreams'?
