I apologize if my posting was deemed a bit heavy handed. I would hate to think that I was ever seen as correcting someone else. I know next to nothing about Balinese language. What I meant to say was that "balinese" is glossed as "bahasa bali" in Indonesian language. An Indonesian speaking in Indonesian language or person of any other nation speaking in Indonesian would not describe it in any other way. I don't think I have even heard a balinese, speaking to me in Indonesian, insert their native term. I suspect anyway that the term "basa" is a contraction of the Indonesian word "bahasa". Still 200 rupiah worth, besides, this inflation business is a terrible thing. Back to you!
