The movies at Kuta Galleria (Simpang Siur); two good theatres, Rp.20,000 max entry (depending on the day), hot popcorn and ice-cold air conditioning. Check the Bali Post for listings or www.baliadvertiser.biz.

Bowling and billiards at Paradiso Bowl, Kuta Center.

Take a taxi to Hardys supermarket on Jl. Sesetan and perv on the young mums shopping for provisions, (whoops! I didn't let out one of the best kept secrets in Bali, did I?).

Try to open a bank account at one of the larger banks, (Mandiri or BNI should do), the wet season will be over by the time you get out of there.

Apply for a drivers license at the main police station on Jl. Gunung Sanghlang, (Kerobokan) the wet and next dry season should be well over, but you should be speaking pretty good Bahasa by then.

Visit Shape11e, I think shes inside.

Go river rafting, you're going to get wet anyway, and the rivers may be deep enough for the rafts not to run aground.

Take a relaxing massage.

Flat your hair.

Ah. Bugger it, just check out Hardys and head back to the bar. Why fight it, its where you'll end up anyway, so why bother leaving.
