Well yesterday dawned fine and bright and we were in anticipation of the days outing.
All met at Legian Gardens for the bus trip to Pacung and then to Candi Kuning for the opening.
Lot of friends new and old and a few we were able to put faces to names.Cracker had arranged a luxury bus and a few of the Adopta widows came along also.All aboard and liquid refreshments flowed freely.Arrived at David and Moiras' for a hearty buffet lunch and then the short trip to the markets.
Much meeting and greeting and formal ceremonies.This place has to be seen to be believed.The loos would not be out of place in a 5* hotel.A touch from Moira were glass tiles set in the walls.
Lots of refreshments and more beverages and all had a great look around.This is a much needed stop off and i,m sure will be well patronised.Do make sure that you go up and have a look and visit the markets at the same time.We all got some good bargains.
Cracker----good soul that he is invited all the workers and they were loudly applauded,he then presented them with a lot of new tools which were greeted with much appreciation.
Many speeches and dances later the bar was well and truely opened.
The trip home was joyous and loud, throats were well lubricated by then and much singing was heard.Also were able to get Cracker to read us a few of his poems.Well, it didn,t take much to twist his arm.
Many thanks to Cracker and Rae and David and Moira for a wonderful day and a job well done.
And yes David ---next trip a few days with you both is planned.
