We stayed at Tegal Sari last week and we too were worried about providing credit details. We ended up paying by bank transfer. I transferred the hotel rate e.g 400,000 Rp divided by 7,500 Rp which equalled about $53 Aus dollars. I emailed Tegal Sari and stated that I had transferred this amount and if there was anything owing then I would fix it up when I arrived. I also faxed a copy of the transfer. They were happy with this. We had no problems and the place was great, worth staying at most definately. Hope this helps.
