No I do not have to pay back, as I can prove that I am still in posession of my card and that I am not in England. I sort of feel sorry for the banks in this situation as they still have to pay the shops that accepted my (fraudulant card) as they would not have known that it was not a legit card.
Maybe that is why interest rates are so high on credit cards
